Beginning

Welcome to my blog, thank you for stopping by. If this is your first time to my blog, it's nice to meet you. If you've been here before, welcome back.

My writing journey has begun. The road will have some bumps and detours. I only hope that the first hill is not too high, and the journey is long.

Aw, thank you Maeve!

I loved the Lolli-Pop! How cute! And I can't wait until I have grandchildren (but I HOPE to wait at LEAST ten more years as my boys are just about to turn 11) because I didn't get nearly enough children. I imagine grandmother-hood is a joy!

Awh Bless you Maeve and congrats to you and to all your other recipients. Love the name of your blog. I used to quilt but tend to knit now. Wow I'm not good enough to make wedding dresses, that's impressive. Would love to see pics of your tea pots. :O)

Thank you Dawn & Madeleine - I really enjoy reading both of your blogs. Madeleine - I'll work on taking some pictures of the teapots. :)

Thanks for the award! And I am sooo impressed with your sewing expertise. Honestly, I can barely thread a needle. It's scary.

Thank you for the award! That is so cool that you sewed the dresses for your daughter's wedding! My mom is a seamstress, and while she didn't sew the bridesmaids' dresses, I remember vividly right before my sister's wedding when she had to alter the matron of honor's dress because she was pregnant - what a wonderful skill to have!

Thinking about you today… I’ve always admired you and just thinking about all the reasons I still do. You certainly are one remarkable woman. Not only are you a very talented writer, seamstress (yes, I’m the lucky bride that had the most beautiful wedding dress in the world, because of you!), artist, cook and so much more; but, a fantastic Wife, Mother and Grandmother. We are all so very proud of you and would be so lost without you! I love reading your Blog – you are an amazing writer! Keep on writing, good things to come! Lots of hugs, Melanie
