My Mommy Hung the Moon

"My mommy hung the moon.
She tied it with string.
My mommy's good at EVERYTHING"
I love this story! A great book about unconditional love between a mother and a child. It is well-written and flows. There is just enough silliness for both mom and child. The illustrations are great. A great read for the end of the day. This would also be a nice gift for the Mom-to-be.

Your posts always take me back to my childhood... and I thank you for that!
Fun! I haven't read this one, but I read another Jamie Lee Curtis book that I really enjoyed. It was very sweet!

Love the sidebar story about your Mom. My mother passed in March of this year. I remember when my 2nd son was born feeling a twinge of sadness that my father (who had passed away at the age of 47 some years earlier) would not get to see his grandchildren. But then, I had this incredibly strong feeling in the delivery room that my father WAS there...along with /his/ father.
